Many items are manufactured and sold specifically for off-road competition use only, and are not approved for street use by the manufacturer or DOT. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to determine that the use of his vehicle and items purchased comply with Federal, state and local regulations.
Shipping & Delivery
When you place your order, you will immediately receive an automated email confirmation from us. If you do not receive it (and it is not caught in your spam folder), then it is likely you have misentered your email address. If you have not supplied a correct email address, you will not receive your shipping confirmation, so please contact us at [email protected] to follow up.
Please review your order confirmation! If you supply an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, your order may be returned to us, or we may need to bill you for the address correction fee charged by the carrier.
Most orders are shipped within 1 business day; if you order before 12:00 Noon Central Time, we will make every effort to get your order out the same day. DUE TO OUR COVID-19 protocols, shipping may be delayed by 2-4 days. We will contact you via email if there are any further delays. Read more here. We will always email your tracking information once your order has shipped.
Every tracking email includes an estimated delivery time. Although missing/delayed packages are rare, if you have not received your package and tracking is showing no movement, please contact us. The sooner the shipper is notified about a missing package, the quicker it can be resolved!
Domestic Ground orders are shipped via UPS Ground (generally 2-4 business day delivery time, see transit time map below), although US Postal Service Priority Mail (estimated 2-3 business day delivery time) is available when more cost effective. We reserve the right to change your shipping method to a cheaper option without notice.
US Overnight Delivery quote is for UPS Next Day Air Saver (estimated 1 business day delivery time, weekdays only). Occasionally, USPS Priority Mail Express is cheaper; if so, we will let you know your options.
NOTE: If you miss our 12 Noon shipping deadline, your expedited order may not ship the same day. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, order processing may be delayed 2-4 days, tho we will try to expedite as best we can. Also, UPS has suspended their expedited service guarantees; express shipments may experience delays in transit.
Sometimes shipping charges are less than our shopping cart calculates; if so, we will adjust your total downwards when we process it!
We ship to APO addresses, as well as Alaska and Hawaii, using USPS Priority Mail. Occasionally, APO/AK/HI shipping charges may be more than calculated in the shopping cart. In this case, we will email you for approval if shipping costs are higher than quoted.
International orders are shipped via either USPS Priority Mail Express International or UPS Worldwide Expedited, and have an estimated 5 day delivery time; delays resulting from Customs processing are not included in the shipping speed estimates. Occasionally, international shipping charges may be more than calculated in the shopping cart. In this case, we will email you for approval if shipping costs are higher than quoted. Shipping charges do not include any customs-related duties or fees which may be assessed on entry into your country. We do not undervalue items, or mark as a gift. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, US Postal Service delivery is no longer available to some countries; we will contact you if there are any issues in shipping your international order.
We are happy to announce that we are offering shipping into Canada, Australia, and other select countries via UPS Expedited Service at rates cheaper than USPS. This service offers an expedited 2-4 day delivery time, with NO brokerage fee (duties and taxes assessed in-country may still apply). Your order will be shipped by the most cost effective option of either USPS Express or UPS Expedited. If you prefer one option over the other, please make a note in the SPECIAL INFO/REQUESTS field during checkout.
UPS Ground Transit Times
Payment must be received before orders are shipped. We accept payment via Paypal, American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover. If you wish to pay with a Money Order, we accept US Postal Service Money Orders (in US$) only. Please make payable to AKG Motorsport, and mail to us at PO Box 425, Capron, IL 61012; be sure to include your name, address and order number with your money order.
AKG Motorsport is not required to, and does not, collect sales or use tax except for orders shipped within Illinois. Under some state laws, purchases are not tax-exempt merely because a seller is not required to collect tax, and a buyer may be required to pay use tax. Please visit your state government’s revenue site for more information.
To our customers in Washington State: Sales or use tax is due on certain purchases delivered or sourced to Washington. Washington requires you to file a use tax return when sales tax is not paid at the time of purchase. This message is required under the Revised Code of Washington 82.13.020(2)(a)(i).
Products will be accepted for return within 30 days of the date of shipment, provided that return is authorized in advance by the company, and product is returned clean and unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. A credit equal to the product price less 20% stocking fee for uninstalled/unused returned products will be issued only after inspection. Gift Certificates are valid for one (1) year from date of purchase, and are non-transferable. Certificates may be used to purchase products only at akgmotorsport.com and may not be used through any of our dealers nationwide and/or internationally. It may not be redeemed for cash or applied as credit to any credit card or account. If the certificate is lost or stolen, and you have proof of purchase, we will issue a new certificate for the balance as shown in our records. If the certificate was issued as a promotion by AKG Motorworks, Inc., and is lost or misplaced by the bearer, we will not issue a replacement.
