AKG's rear trailing arm tool can simplify the removal and installation of rear trailing arm bushings.
For removal of factory bushings:
| Prepare old bushings for removal by using a box cutter or other means to remove excess material around the bushings, as shown in Photos 1 and 2. |

| Install the RTAB tool as shown in Photo 3. Simply continue to tighten the tool on the sleeve side until the bushing is off the trailing arm, and inside the tool sleeve. Remove the tool, and take old bushing from sleeve. |

For install of new factory bushings:
| Lubricate factory bushing with silicon spray or WD40. Install bushing with RTAB tool as in Photo 1. |
|
| Proceed to tighten the tool until approximately 90% of the bushing is fitted, as in Photo 2. |
|
| Install the tool sleeve as in Photo 3 and continue to tighten until the bushing is completely inside the trailing arm. Remove tool on completion. |
|
For install of new AKG Motorsport bushings:
| Lubricate bushings well, between bushing and its aluminum sleeve, with wheel bearing grease. Assemble bushing as shown in Photo 1. |
|
| Install the RTAB tool as in Photo 2 and tighten until the bushing sits completely in the trailing arm. Remove tool. |
